Abstract
Food charity, or Anna-daan, is among the most ancient and revered acts of generosity in India. Firmly embedded in the nation's religious and cultural fabric, it serves as a powerful means of nourishing millions while nurturing unity and empathy. This webinar will explore how food donation practices have developed over time, particularly in response to challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic. It will also address the current obstacles these efforts encounter and discuss ways to make them more resilient and inclusive moving forward.
