Abstract
Climate change, democratic instability, and persistent global poverty are among the defining challenges of our time. However, policy approaches often address these crises in isolation, deepening economic and social tradeoffs instead of resolving them.Drawing on the central ideas of Shared Prosperity in a Fractured World, the session examines how nations can accelerate the green transition, rebuild middle-class prosperity, and create inclusive economic opportunities in developing economies. The discussion highlights the growing pressures of authoritarianism, economic nationalism, automation, and shifting global trade dynamics, while offering practical pathways toward sustainable and equitable growth.
