Abstract

Contemporary employment data collection approaches in India often lack coherence, leading to fragmented insights. A unified data framework is crucial to capture the complexities of employment, including informal and gig economy work. By enhancing data integration, policymakers can gain a clearer and more holistic view of employment dynamics, which will inform more effective policy decisions. The webinar will focus on the need to integrate various data sources, such as labor market trends, workforce participation, skill development, and sector-specific employment patterns.
