The EGROW Foundation conducted a One-day Conference on “Financial Sector and Viksit Bharat @2047” at the India International Centre, New Delhi on August 7, 2025.

Shri M. Nagaraju, Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, inaugurated the Conference as the Chief Guest.

The Conference brought together leading experts and professionals from different sectors of the financial markets like the banking, NBFC, insurance, pension and securities market (program schedule is attached as Annexure 1). The deliberations aimed to identify the role which the financial sector could play in enabling India’s transition to a developed nation status by 2047, and to explore initiatives that financial institutions could undertake to actively contribute towards this goal.
