Dr. Ayanendu Sanyal is an Assistant Professor at the Mahatma Gandhi Labour Institute, where he teaches courses encompassing Microeconomics, Public Finance, International Trade, Environmental Economics, Labour Economics, Business Environment, and Statistics. He earned his PhD from the Institute for Social and Economic Change on “Civil Service Pension Reforms in India”.

He begun his career as an Academic Associate at IIM Bangalore, following which he has taught at St. Joseph University and Christ University. Dr. Sanyal has a prolific publication record, with contributions in various esteemed scholarly journals including a couple of publication in Economic and Political Weekly. He has also written in weeklies and business dailies like One India One People and The Hindu Business Line.

He is an Expert-Honorary at the EGROW Foundation which is policy thinktank at New Delhi and Life member of Indian Association Review of National Income and Wealth (IARNIW).
