Kamalkishore C. Jani Is presently associated with some Companies ( GHCL, HTL LIMITED, NATIONAL HOUSING BANK) as Independent Director. He was Production Engineer with Saurashtra Chemicals ( January 1977 to December 1977) , Project Appraisal Officer with Gujarat State Financial Corporation (GSFC) from January 1978 to May 1980. He Joined IDBI (Then DFI) in June 1980. He Worked for about 34 years till January 2014 with IDBI, and Rose from Assistant Manager to Executive Director during this period.

He attended various training program/conferences in India and abroad. He was a panel member of experts for preparation of HR Syllabus for the Two Year Full-Time MBA Course of IIT, Roorkee. He was Visiting Faculty at IIT Roorkee, IIM Raipur, IIFM, Mumbai, SSA College of Management, Silvassa and Institute of Cost Accountants of India. He Received award for “Leveraging Human Capital to Deliver Customers Diligent and Impact Overall Growth” at ADFIP (Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia- Pacific) in May 2013 at Mongolia.
