Raman Aggarwal is a senior leader in India’s non-banking financial sector and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Finance Industry Development Council (FIDC), the RBI-recognized self-regulatory body for NBFCs. He has over three decades of experience in the NBFC industry, having held key leadership roles including Senior Vice President and Head of Corporate Affairs at SREI Equipment Finance Ltd.

Aggarwal has actively represented the sector through advisory roles with the Ministry of Finance, Reserve Bank of India, and other industry bodies, and has held positions such as Chairman of the National Council on NBFCs at ASSOCHAM. A recognized industry voice, he has received awards such as “Best NBFC Exemplary Leader” and has been featured among the “Top 100 Influential BFSI Leaders.”

He holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from the School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi, and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology.
