Ramesh Yadava
Ramesh Yadava, a serial entrepreneur hailing from Silicon Valley, has been instructing Engineering Entrepreneurship at BIT Sindri, JUT, IITB, IITG since 2017. From 1983 to 2016, he was involved in four startup ventures. As the Chief Operating Officer of Cradle Technologies, a manufacturer of Advanced Networked Video Servers (CCTV), he oversaw the production of the patented multi-core Cradle designed chip, which powered the unique networked Surveillance product enVigil, catering to markets in the USA and India. His responsibilities included managing all manufacturing operations, including supply chain functions and manufacturing engineering. Prior to his tenure at Cradle Technologies, Yadava held the position of Vice President of Strategic Relationships at Fidelica Microsystems, a biometric (Fingerprint recognition) security company, until its acquisition by Lenovo in 2013. Before that, he co- founded Comport Corporation, which specialized in designing and manufacturing 3.5" hard disk drives, with funding from Samsung in 1990. Preceding Comport, Yadava served as the co-founder and President of Omek Flexible Disk Drive in 1982, which was later acquired by Satya Electronics in India. Additionally, he has held management positions at Memorex, Quantum, Read-Rite, and Iomega.
Presently, Ramesh Yadava serves as the President of PRO NET in Fremont, California. He also holds the position of Associate Vice President at CTIF Aarhus University in Denmark and works as an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at BIT Sindri and Jharkhand University of Technology. Yadava has also contributed significantly to the Tie-Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR) as Co-Chairperson, focusing on India Economic Policy Reform. He is a Charter Member of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneur) and has served on the TiE Board as Finance Chair. Additionally, he co-authored a book on Entrepreneurship published by Jharkhand University of Technology in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Beyond his professional endeavors, Ramesh Yadava is also known for his artistic talents, serving as the lyricist and music composer of the BIT Sindri Kul Geet, "BIT Sindri Theme Song."
Ramesh received his Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Bihar Institute of Technology Sindri, and holds a Master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Santa Clara.
