S. Sampathraman is a prominent Indian industry leader and policy advocate, best known for his pivotal roles in shaping MSME policies and manufacturing growth in Karnataka. He served as the President of the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) for 2014–15 and has also been the Chairman of the ASSOCHAM (Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India) Karnataka Regional Council. Over the course of his career, he has worked with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in Nagpur and Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd in Pune, and currently serves as the Chairman and Managing Director of DPK Engineers, a Bangalore-based manufacturer of diesel power generating sets.
